Mgr. Jakub Poláček

• Jakub graduated from the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. After completing his Master’s degree and basic military service, he pursued further studies at the Faculty of Law at Universität zu Köln in Cologne, specializing in civil, contract, and constitutional law;
• Upon returning to the Czech Republic, he worked as a law clerk in Brno. During his tenure at his parents’ law firm, his practice primarily focused on civil and commercial law, particularly obligations, company and cooperative law, and litigation;
• After passing the bar exam, Jakub practiced as an attorney at law in Brno, specializing in civil and commercial law, construction proceedings, and administrative procedure. He has represented clients before the Constitutional Court, the Supreme Court, and the Supreme Administrative Court. In collaboration with the law firm Loh von Hülsen Michael in Berlin, he has also facilitated representation in international courts. Jakub is a member of the IRZ (cross-border lawyer network);
• Before joining MT Legal, Jakub successfully served as the Director of the Legal Services Department at the South Bohemian office of the Office for Government Representation in Property Affairs, focusing on public liability litigation;
• At MT Legal, Jakub specializes in civil law with an emphasis on contract law, litigation, employment law, as well as construction and corporate law.
